Pastor, Elder William Montgomery

Picture of Elder William MontgomeryElder William Montgomery, a native of Texas, was reared in the Tampa Bay, Florida area where he attended the public schools. He furthered his education at Kentucky State University in Frankfort, Kentucky. It was in Lexington, Kentucky that he met his wife, the lovely Yvette Montgomery.

After receiving his formal education, Elder Montgomery moved to Jamaica, New York and became affiliated with the Tabernacle of Prayer for all people, Inc.

In 1983, he was saved under the ministry of the late Apostle Johnnie Washington. While a member of the Tabernacle of Prayer for all People, Inc., Elder Montgomery attended the Tabernacle Bible Institute and served as an engineer in the Tape and Radio Broadcast Ministry. He answered the call into ministry in 1984 and began a Street Ministry.

This dynamic young man of God moved back to Florida in 1986. God had souls in Florida assigned to his hands. He later joined the Sanford Tabernacle of Prayer, Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida under the leadership of Pastor Carrie Buie-Bryant. There, he became an associate minister and worked faithfully by his Pastor’s side.

Souls were yet crying out. In 1988, Elder Montgomery, along with his wife, started a prison ministry at the James I. Montgomery Correction Institute in Jacksonville, Florida. He has been ministering in the St. Johns County Jail in St. Augustine, Florida since 1987.

In 1993, Elder Montgomery was ordained an elder. On August 29, 1997 he was commissioned to pastor in St. Augustine, Florida. There, Elder Montgomery, along with his wife, pastors Deliverance Time Ministry, Inc.

Pastor Montgomery, dubbed as the “Preaching Machine”, cries out against sin. He has a tremendous burden for the lost, cast down and those that are captive to Satan’s devices. He ministers under an anointed mantle along with his wife. When ministering together, they are called the “Tag Team”. Many souls have been touched and blessed through this ministry.

Pastor Montgomery is a wonderful husband and father. He and his wife are the parents of six children and they have six grandchildren. He is loved by many.

In October of 1983, she and her husband were saved under the ministry of the late Apostle Johnnie Washington, and joined the Tabernacle of Prayer for all People, Inc. in Jamaica, New York. Evangelist Montgomery attended the Tabernacle of Prayer Bible School, and she also began to minister on the streets of New York.

In 1986, Evangelist Montgomery and her family moved to St. Augustine, Florida. She joined the Sanford Tabernacle of Prayer, Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida under the leadership of Pastor Carrie Buie-Bryant. She also taught and ministered the precious word of God.

In 1988, Evangelist Montgomery and her husband started a prison ministry at the James I. Montgomery Correctional Institute in Jacksonville, Florida. She has been ministering in the St. Johns County Jail in St. Augustine, Florida since 1987.

Evangelist Yvette Montgomery pastors along with her husband at Deliverance Time Ministry, Inc. in St. Augustine, Florida. When ministering together, they are called the “Tag Team”.

She is an anointed woman of God whom God has raised up in these last days to minister under a prophetic mantel. God uses her to speak into the spirits of dying men and women. She challenges and encourages the saints of God to live and walk upright before Him, and to be ready for His return.

Evangelist Montgomery is truly a lover of God, His word and souls. She is also the loving and faithful wife of Pastor William Montgomery, the mother of their six children and they have six grandchildren.
